Sources: The Primary-Source Hierarchy Behind Every Figure
Every price in this database traces to a primary source: the provider's own published pricing page, read on the capture date shown, with an archive link preserved. This page describes the source hierarchy; each record's specific links live in the database and on its provider page.
Tier 1 — provider-published pricing pages (checkout pages, plan pages, published rate cards): the only tier that earns source-verified status. Tier 2 — company statements elsewhere (interviews, ads, press releases, marketplace listings): recorded with a stated-not-verified flag until the figure appears on Tier 1. Tier 3 — regulatory and manufacturer primary sources for context: FDA shortage-list determinations and compounding guidance, the April 2026 proposed rule, federal court rulings in the OFA litigation, Eli Lilly's LillyDirect↗ pricing announcements, and Novo Nordisk's NovoCare↗ pricing announcements. Never used as price sources: review aggregators, affiliate roundups, forums, or other comparison sites — the places circular citation is born. Archive links use the Internet Archive; where a provider blocks archiving, we retain dated captures and say so on the record.
